Today was pretty great. I spent it alone. 

First, I woke up and started my day as I always do: with a smoothie and a couple cups of coffee. 

Then, I went and got a pretty awesome mani/pedi. My manicure involved glitter. Not really like me at all, but enjoyable nonetheless. 

Then, I went food shopping and saved $20 with my bonus club card.

Then, I spent the rest of the afternoon working on my resume…because I still need a job.

Then, I experimented with a new hairstyle. It didn’t work so I pinned back my hair with bobby pins and a headband. I still felt good about it.

Then, I headed into the city, ate a slice of pizza at Luigi’s, and went to UCB to see my absolute favorite team, The Stepfathers, perform a fantastic show.

I was solely by myself for the majority of the day. This is nothing new for me, but today…I really liked it.
